Inspired by vintage Campbell’s soup ads and the dreary New York weather, we have turned to our old reliable recipes from House & Garden’s past for some ideas on how to spice up our warm, liquid diet for the winter! All these recipes are so simple, just another way to enhance a can of soup, and we couldn’t be more excited to try them out.

In House & Garden’s “Canned Soup Cookbook,” Myra Waldo writes, “If a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, then a soup in the can might be said to be worth two in the cook book.”
