We’re green with envy over Pantone’s Color of the year: Greenery. “A fresh and zesty yellow-green shade,” Pantone calls the color “natures neutral.” Whether chartreuse, leaf green, acid green, hunter green, and all the shades in between, green has always been a part of our palette. Above, in Charlotte’s Kips Bay Decorator’s Showhouse from 2012, she used a refreshing shade on the wall that made everything else in the room come to life. The glass wall covered as a hedge with a window references Charlotte’s own garden inspired by Chateau d’Orsan.
An Hervé van der Straeten showstopping mirror and a bold terracotta lampshade on a delft lamp add a bit of spark on the green ground. (Right) A single Vladimir on a bracket, a double hollyhock.
All the shades of Pantone’s color of the year, Greenery. To get the look, here are some of our favorite pantone inspired pieces and where to find them.
