Our imaginary resident of the room is a couple who loves to travel, and wanted a bedroom that reminded them of where they had been… as well as housing some of their favorite things:

The Chinese screen, the Dutch lantern, Bonacina chairs made near Lake Como, a silk carpet made in India, and other mementos.
