Charlotte will be in conversation with Margot Shaw featuring her new book Charlotte Moss: At Home In Virginia and will be speaking on the pursuit of beauty.

An Evening with Margot Shaw and Charlotte

Spend an evening with Charlotte and Flower magazine founder and publisher Margot Shaw.

The afternoon begins at the Virginia Museum of History & Culture, where Charlotte and Margot will be in conversation exploring the enduring pursuit of beauty. Together, they’ll discuss where they find inspiration, how beauty shapes the way we live, and how these ideas are reflected in their newest books, Charlotte Moss At Home in Virginia and Flowering Outdoors. Following the conversation, guests are invited to a book signing with the authors.

The evening continues at The Branch Museum with cocktails, dinner, and special remarks from Charlotte Moss and Margot Shaw as Guests of Honor. Held in the museum’s Main Gallery, this intimate benefit dinner offers the opportunity to continue the conversation with the evening’s honored guests.

A portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit The Branch Museum. Presented by Maison Vie.

Charlotte Moss at Home: An Inspired Life from Near and Far

Please join Charlotte in conversation with her longtime friend, interior designer Suzanne Tucker. As great friends and devoted traveling companions, they have explored the world’s architecture, gardens, museums, markets, and private houses together with an insatiable curiosity. Each journey deepens their understanding of beauty, craftsmanship, and culture, enriching the way one sees the world and, in turn, the spaces created. In this intimate tête-à-tête, Charlotte opens her doors to her beloved Virginia home and gardens—a deeply personal sanctuary shaped by decades of collecting, travel, and gracious entertaining. Woven throughout this conversation are both designers’ reflections on inspiration, thoughtful curation, friendship, hospitality, and the enduring pleasures of living beautifully.

Immediately following the lecture, please join us for book signings in the Authors’ Alcove, featuring:
